Belgium
The Belgian competent executing judicial authority:

the investigative judge (juge d’instruction – onderzoeksrechter), the Council Chamber (chambre du conseil – raadkamer) and, in higher appeal - the indictment chamber (chambre des mises en accusation – kamer van inbeschuldigingstelling) or;
—
the public prosecutor if the person concerned consents to his/her surrender.
Bulgaria
Bulgaria designates the relevant district court where the wanted person subject to an arrest warrant has been apprehended for the competent authority to decide on the execution of the arrest warrant.
Czech Republic
The bodies authorised to execute an arrest warrant in the Czech Republic are the regional public prosecutors' offices, the Municipal Public Prosecutors' Office in Prague, regional courts, high courts and the Municipal Court in Prague.

PUBLIC PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE AT THE COURT OF APPEALS
Spain
The authority competent to execute an arrest warrant is the judge of the Central Investigative Court within the National High Court (Juez Central de Instrucción de la Audiencia Nacional). Where the warrant concerns a minor, the judge of the Central Juvenile Court (Juez Central de Menores) is competent.
France
France designates the principal public prosecutors and the examining magistrates' offices as judicial authorities competent to execute arrest warrants.
Croatia
County courts are competent for executions, depending on the place where a person has residence or a whereabouts. If he/she does not have a residence or a whereabouts in the Republic of Croatia, the county court according to the location where a person was arrested will be competent.
Italy
Courts of Appeal shall be the competent authorities for the execution of an arrest warrant.
However, the handling of requests involves the International Police Cooperation Service of the Department of Public Security of the Ministry of the Interior, which is the point of contact between the National Investigative Offices and the collateral police bodies for the exchange of information, the transmission and reception of related documents.

Belgium
In case of an arrest warrant issued for the purposes of prosecution, the competent issuing judicial authority is:

—
the public prosecutor.
In case of an arrest warrant for the purposes of executing a sentence or a detention order, the competent issuing judicial authority is the public prosecutor.
Bulgaria
Bulgaria designates:

the relevant prosecutor as the competent authority to issue an arrest warrant at the pre-trial stage of the criminal proceedings and for sentenced persons, and
2.
the relevant court as the competent authority to issue an arrest warrant at the trial stage of the criminal proceedings.

The bodies authorised to issue an arrest warrant in the Czech Republic are local, district, regional and high courts, the Municipal Court in Prague, the Municipal Court in Brno and the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic.

The authority competent to issue an arrest warrant is the judge or court that presided over the case.
France
France designates the prosecutors in the public prosecutor’s office as judicial authorities competent to issue an arrest warrant for the purposes of executing arrest warrants issued by an examining magistrate, by a trial court or by a judge responsible for the execution of sentences, and to ensure that custodial sentences are carried out.
Croatia
State attorney’s offices that are authorised for the initiation of a prosecution are competent for the proceedings before the issuing of the indictment. After that, competence is on the court that is conducting a criminal proceeding.

The judicial authorities which are competent to issue an arrest warrant shall be the judges, courts of first instance and courts where the criminal proceedings are pending. In the execution phase of the sentence or detention order, the judicial authority which is competent to issue an arrest warrant shall be the public prosecutor at the executing judicial authority.
Cyprus
The competent issuing judicial authority is a Judge of the District Court having jurisdiction for trying the offence or the Court that issued the decision on the sentence or the preventing measure. The central authority responsible for assisting the competent judicial authorities for issuing an arrest warrant is the Ministry of Justice and Public Order.

The central authority is the Ministry of Justice – Directorate General for International Affairs and Judicial Cooperation – Office I (International Judicial Cooperation). The central authority is competent in relation to the functions set forth in Article LAW.SURR 85 §§ 1 and 2. The central authority shall provide assistance to the competent judicial authorities and shall be responsible for the administrative transmission and receipt of arrest warrants, as well as for all other official correspondence relating thereto.
